She was born too soon, but her EDD was 30th April. If all had gone well I would have been sitting up this evening wrapping presents and blowing up balloons.

Oh that's very sad for you. It must be so hard - but you can still blow up a balloon for your daughter if you want to? It's not her birthday but it could have been and when you have been given so few landmarks for your lives together I think you should mark it with all of your heart.

I have never lost a baby but my sister has and I know it is terrible, being a mum now I know it would tear me up if that happened. But you must be a very strong woman to deal with it.

oops I have my ex with me today, we are still friends but the loss tore our relationship apart. We are going out for lunch here I like the atmosphere of it and also the cherub reference seems apt. ex has gone out for a walk and I am still lying in bed can't find the motivation to get up yet.

northenlurker yes you are right about the landmarks. we are going to get a single balloon and release it in a special park that we used to go for walks in when I was preg alot.
