Possible pregnancy

I always get my period on time, however this month I didnt get it. I had planned to go to the clinic this week to do a test. However a few days ago i got a very heavy black period with a lot of clots and severe cramps. Im unsure whether i was ever pregnant, and if i had a chemical pregnancy.

How would you feel about knowing you were pregnant and lost it? Would it be better not to know? Do you want to be pregnant? If you were pregnant you may test positive anyway so if you wanted to find out you probably could. Of course that then will bring its own emotions and issues including whether what you experienced was a miscarriage and you would probably also need a scan.

Hope things resolve themselves for you in a way you can cope with.

They might be able to tell by a blood test for HCG levels.
