How long till pg symptoms go?

Had 2nd mc 3 weeks ago, 1st in November. The 1st was hideous, very painful and grim. This one was just bright red bleeding for 12 hours then nothing, no pain at all.
Dr did test, results yesterday are negative. But I still have really painful boobs, it feels so unfair that they won't go away as I want to just get over this but have a constant (uncomfortable) reminder.

Did anyone else have this? With my 1st mc, as soon as the bleeding started properly, every symptom seemed to vanish, so this is just making me feel even more crap.

Sorry to hear about this

But in answer to your questions 60 days is the normal length of time for the hormones to completely abate. You might want to try stuffing some cabbage leaves in your bra overnight to reduce the swelling - this will stop the pain too - I know it sounds weird but it does work.

Sorry for your loss. I had a MMC at 11 weeks in February, after the ERPC it took about 2 weeks to stop feeling pregnant and my boobs didn't shrink back to normal till my AF 4 weeks later.

There's a few more of us on this thread if you want to join us.

catrin its normal to feel out of sorts for ages after, im still not quite right 7 months down the line. However you should be feeling better in 2 weeks after mc, if not you should go back to the gp...usually it takes this amount of time for a negative pregnancy reading.
gracie is right the emmsys thread is what got me through the last few months xx

Thanks for your responses, it helps to know I'm not going insane. I'd started to worry I may be giving myself a phantom pregnancy. 60 days sounds awful - I had no idea it may be that long.

Will come and find you on the other thread when am brave enough.

Thanks again x
