Lead up to an anniversary being harder than the day itself

Does anyone find this? I feel a bit guilty for feeling this way, like the day should be the hardest. Perhaps the adrenaline carries me through. Not sure.

I totally agree, it's almost a relief when the day is here and I can deal with it rather than worrying in advance about how I will feel on the day when it arrives. Sending hugs xx
