brownish discharge 2 weeks after miscarriage???

Hiya, I have posted here previously about having suffered my 5th miscarriage recently.

I have today started to bleed a brownish discharge, something that I would probs associate with the end of a period, I miscarried 2 weeks ago today, and its the same kind of blood as at the beginning

I have never had a period this early after losing, and am doing the clear blue fertility to track my ovulation and have only just stopped bleeding really (about 6 days)

I have never experienced this after a miscarriage before and have often had to wait up to 6 weeks for a period as I have irregular periods so im a bit concerned with the brown stuff...

anyone else had this..

just as I was starting to come to terms with it again..this happens....!!

Sorry about your losses all4us. Have you had a scan after this recent loss as sounds like it could be retained tissue, i had similar to this after one of my mc,s (ive had 3).

Sorry to hear of your miscarriages. I had this exact same thing... I had an ERPC. Bled for about 6 days (quite lightly.) Then 2 weeks after the ERPC I had just what you have described. This went on for about 4 days. I decided in the end to treat it as the lightest (weirdest) period in the world. I then had a proper period 4 weeks later (6 weeks after ERPC, 4 weeks after weird bleed.) I also saw a Doc as I was worried it was retained tissue. He thought it was fine / early period. I hope this helps. I know how horrid mysterious things like this are after a miscarrigae, when you just want it all to get back to normal. Thinking of you and hope it all settles down soon.

thanks for the messages, its still not stopped but its not a huge amount

I will probs visit doc though as my boobs are still really sore and my stomach is still a little sore...which although may be nothing id rather make sure that everything is ok....

I am experiencing the exact same thing. Had a MC 3 weeks ago (i was 5 weeks along). Did not require D&C. For the last few days I have been having a blood stained discharge when I wipe, somtimes with brown. I also had slight period like cramps and breast tenderness. What did your doctor say was the cause?
