not sure what's going on...

I found out I was pregnant on the 7th but had bleeding 3 days later. Had hcg levels taken and they've gone down consistently so I've definitely miscarried The hospital will take more blood tests next week to check that the hcg levels are where they should be.

What I'm confused about it my body - I had no physical pain at all at any stage, and I had no further bleeding until today, nearly a week later... it this my period or an effect of the miscarriage?

Sorry to hear this. I don't know the answer to your question- can you ask the hospital staff next week maybe?

It's been a real rollercoaster for me - the last couple of days I hadn't thought about the mc much as I have a toddler and so on, but today when the bleeding actually started I've been pretty much a wreck.

Sorry to hear this VV. I had something similar with an early mc a couple of years ago. I didn't even realise I was pg and assumed that the bleeding was a normal period. It stopped for a couple of days and then started again. I was v v confused and it never crossed my mind I was pg. After I had bled for another 4 days I did go to the GP and he said do a pg test. It was pos so went to EPU who blood tested me and the HCG levels were on the way down so it was a mc. But like you, no real pain and a stop to the bleed half way through. Its prob just the tail end of the mc IMO.
