can d&c/erpc change your periods?

i have just got my af, 6 weeks after erpc, seems to be different to my previous cycle, which was.... oooppps af is here get to the loo, i had a bit of light pink blood last night, a bit of brown this morning and full red blood this afternoon, only its very slow, only bleeding when i go to the loo, no tummy ache, no back ache. am i right in thinking d&cs are given to women who have heavy periods, does this type of procedure make af lighter. do you think my next af will be normal i just want to get back to how i used to be. thank you, dianne

when I had an erpc last year I had chaos for a few months, once my periods started again they were only 2 days long for about 3 cycles then finally went back to normal after that. I think looking back they were anovulatory cycles too. Hope things get back to normal for you soon.
