Hi Everyone, me again.
Having a bad day emotionally.
On day 29 of my cycle, postitive preg test but got all pmt symptoms including dragging sensation and period pain for the last 4 days
Had to ring the miscarriage association as I was so upset thinking I'm about to have another mc. They were fantastic. The Lady listened about my past mc's and reassured me about this one. Apparently, 2 mc's are very common but a third only tend to happen in 1% of women(?)
I asked her if there was a support group in my area but unfortunately there isn't It's helpful talking to you girls on here, believe me, but to be in a room with people who are going through the same would, I know help me enormously
She said that it would be good for me, whatever the result, to have a scan to see what's happening but at the mo it's far too early - which I know.
I know I need to be 6 weeks along before being scanned.
She advised to ring my early pregnancy clinic to see if I need a GP referral to make an appt there.
So this I did and I, thankfully, don't need a gp's referral - my gp isn't the most forthcoming and willing doctor.
They said judging from my LMP to ring in 2 weeks to book a scan and they'll take it from there so at lease I have that to aim for whatever happens between now and then.
It's the waiting that's so hard.
Does anyone know of any support groups around in the south east area? Or anyone with the same experience at the mo?
