period pain but positive pregnancy test - 28th day of cycle

Hi everyone
After putting up a post yesterday asking if anyones' periods had messed around since mc's last night I couldn't stand it anymore.
Had all the pmt symptoms but my boobs are so sore and strong metallic taste in mouth so took a test and it came up positive.
(The line wasn't bright but you didn't have to squint to see it either).
Lasy Nov when I had my 2nd mc I had all the usual pmt symptoms even though the test was postive and I'm frightened that this time round will be the same
My Mum has told me to wait patiently and see what the next few days bring (had a little bit of pink discharge last night but nothing since) She said she had all the pmt symptoms when she found out she was pregnant with me. No rhyme or reason.
Does anyone have any feedback on this or similar experiences? Thanks

Hey Aunty: From my experiences, a postive pregnancy test is very reliable! I have heard of false positives but I've never had one. Also, when I was preggers the first 2 times, I had PMS like symptoms - sore chest, light cramping, moodiness. So, early pregnancy can often be confused with PMS.

Not getting my hopes up naturally because of what's happened in the past. Not being negative just realistic.
I will keep you posted Daynee A positive pregnancy test is a good thing I know but it doesn't mean a successful pregnancy is in store and I'm, I suppose, protecting myself from disappointment.
