Hey all - Happy New Year! I'm looking for ex emmsys angels or anyone that has advice on cyclogest pessaries? Been advised by specialist to take them whilst pregnant with low dose aspirin, even tho all recurrent miscarriage tests showed no causes? PLease help?!?!!? Would be pregnancy no 4! Desperate to make it work!

I just saw my consultant after my fourth miscarriage. He said that unless tests show a problem, there is currently no evidence that progesterone (I'm assuming that's what cyclogest is) or baby aspirin make any difference to outcomes. He did however say that there is a possibility that progesterone may make a difference to a very small number of women, but as yet doctors don't know which women will benefit. So I suppose there is no harm in taking it just in case you might be one of this small group.

Are you pregant already? Good luck with it all if you are. I'm pregnant again and have been told I only have a 30 to 50% chance of it going right. Trying to be philosophical about it all at the mo.
