Hi,

I posted in the pregnancy topic on Tuesday and today but I have a new worry that I'd really appreciate any opinions on.

Background - I'm 5+1 weeks pg and due to pain and a brown discharge I was admitted to hospital on Tuesday with query EP. That seems to have been ruled out from 2 scans and an increase in hgc of double in 48hrs. The discharge has stopped, pain is gone and I still 'feel' pg i.e. sore boobs, little nauseous (sp?) etc but now I have been passing small amounts of grey/white tissue.

I think I've made things worse by googling it and found lots of references to this being a major sign of impending mc.

It's not large lumps, nothing bigger than a grain of rice and it resembles wet tissue paper in that it's not solid.

Has anybody had any experience of this?

MIL-to-be has just arrived. I'll have to leave it here for now. be back shortly.

to be honest I have no idea if it's a miscarriage or not but but I would expect you to loose a lot of blood if it is. I would suggest going to the EPAU for another scan otherwise you'll continue to worry. Good luck! {{{hugs}}}

Thanks for your reply and the hugs CM.

(correction in last post - hcg not hgc)

I was only discharged yesterday and two scans already have not been able to 'see' anything because I'm not far enough along.

I thought there would be bleeding with an mc but from what I've read today it looks like there are lots of different types of mc's and different signs and symptoms.

I'm due back for a scan tomorrow week so it's going to be a long wait. I guess I'm just hoping someone can tell me they've had simular to this and it's been ok.

I'm sorry, maybe I shouldn't have posted in this topic. I hope I haven't upset anyone.

Stop googling

No advice even though I've had 3 m/c's. Every one has been different.

Good luck. x
