Hi

I found out that I had had a missed miscarriage on boxing day. I was devasated and started the medicla management on the saturday. Unfortunately I am unable to swallow tablets but as I had already started bleeding and having cramps, they said I could go straight for the pessaries however the process may take longer. I ve had some heavy bleeding and strong pains but have been told to wait for a week and a half before taking a pregnancy test.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem? I feel stupid for not being able to take tablets as I don't know how I will cope till a week on saturday.

I'm so sorry ruby, I haven't had missed miscariages, but have had 2 that started themselves. If you're bleeding already, it could be that you could miscarry naturally. Take care and have plenty of rest, and don't feel stupid about not swallowing tablets. I've been taking folic acid for 10 months and still stuggle to swallow the damn pill!

gosh Ruby, I had a missed mc at 11wks, and was taken straight in for erpc. I was asked if i would like to wait for things to happen naturally but was freaked out by that tbh, had just had a scan and to see out lo laying on the bottom of my womb was bad enough.

Be gentle on yourself, take it easy. I hope you have some rl support. x

Hi Ruby, am so sorry my lovely for you loss, i had a mmc and do opted for the medical management. I took the tablet and within several hours later the baby passed through when i was at home. I lost alot of blood and went to hospital, stayed in over the night (hubby was allowed to stay aswell). Still bled for a couple of weeks after that with strong pains which i took paracetamols for. The preg test kept coming up with a positive for a few weeks which was awful but it did eventually turn to a negative. Could you take a painkiller in medicine form such as neurophene (sorry not right spelling)for the pain. I feel for you i really do, sending you gentle hugs.
XXX.

Thanks for the messages. I am able to take soluble tablets but my pains have actually gone in the most. I do get some now and again. I think it's just the thought of waiting another week for the pregnancy to pass and there is no guarantee that it will by next sat.
