Questions after D&C

I went to the doctor on friday december 5th and after hours of picking and proding and sticking i found out that 11+2 i lots my baby. That night i had the D&C done nad everything was fine after that. today i got up and i have bright red bleeding again. i did do some christmas shopping yesterday and pick up my two year old a few times. i was told not to lift her but who can say no to a begging two year old that just wants a hug? is it just my regular period coming back or did i over do it and cause the bleeding to start again or is it something worse?? any helps would be greatly appreciated cause i would like to refrain from being picked and prodded again from the doctor till i have to be.

I had a D&C done on the Tuesday, by check up on Friday I had stopped bleeding (actually hardly bled at all). At the weekend I had a heavy bleed, like a normal period. I suspect that the D&C did not completly clear out the womb and that is why I had more bleeding.

I think there will always be some bleeding afterwards My mc was natural, so I'm not certain but from what I've read, this will just be a natural part of the process and not really a period.

I had a D&C on a Monday, had light bleed till the Thursday, then nothing until a few days later then proper bleeding for a couple of days. From speaking to people, it's a normal pattern, but not a period.

Sorry about your loss. I had a D&C a couple of years ago and had bleeding for nearly 3 weeks afterwards, prob not what you want to hear but if it happens it's totally normal

Should have mentioned in last post that bleeding was heavy for a few days and then light for the remainder of the time. If you still have heavy bleeding nearly a week after I think it can mean not everything was removed (this happened to a friend of mine)

Sorry to hear of your loss. I had a D+C recently too. Wasn't told not to lift - just to take it easy for 48 hrs cos of surgery. My bleeding has stopped but pg test still positive. The D+C was over two weeks ago so I'm not sure what's going on.
