Remembering

My friend lost her baby at 20 weeks. He was due to arrive on 21st of December. This Christmas is going to be really hard for her.

I'd like to get her something for Christmas that lets her know we're all here for her and to remember her son.

I was thinking about planting a tree in his name or something. Is that totally uninspired?

Hi Winky, your poor friend... I've lost two babies this year, the first one was due on 14th Dec. I lost it at 8 weeks which was devastating, but to lose a baby at 20 must be even more so. You sound like a lovely lady to be trying to think of something beautiful to do for your friend .

If someone were to do that for me then I like the idea of naming a star after my babies. Then your friend can always look up at the stars and be reminded that her little one is up there looking down on her .

Winky, will you do something on the actual due day for her?

She lives too far away for me to visit her on this day, MofM.

Erm, but not sure why I jumped to the conclusion that visiting her was what you meant, MofMonsters.

I'd like my gift to arrive on that day so that she knows we're thinking of her and her DH. I'll call her too.

Was thinking about sponsoring a child in her son's name.....
