Bright red blood at 7 weeks no cramps, is there any point calling docs etc or should I just wait and see?

Not much more to say than title really. Why do these things always happen at the weekend?

can you go to A+E? always worth it even if just to confirm you are OK. or phone NHS direct see what they say?

You could ring your local maternity hospital and ask to speak to a midwife. I would take it easy for the rest of the day. Hope it turns out to be nothing to worry about

I think you should go to a&e, im also having on and off bleeding since friday, its getting a bit worse today getting more red.

But im also having cramping which is on and off to, Its good that you are having no cramps, so it may be nothing to worry about as so many people bleed in early pregnancy.

Im having a scan tomorrow, im 8 weeks. I hope all goes well for you.

Theres been nothing since still nauseous and sore boobs ........

Going to gp tommorrow anywawy as hadn't told them I'm pregnant yet (second time slightly less anxious).

Trying to take it easy and not fret

Fingers crossed for your scan arena, I had one sided pain at 8 weeks in my first pg and a scan to rule out ectopic everything was fine and we saw a heartbeat and shes now 22 months

hey msp
i had a bleed (very bright red blood) at 5 weeks-about an hour after I had a positive pregnancy test.
was pretty convinced my period had started. However bleeding didn't last the morning,I felt fine and re-tested a few days later-it came up faster than the first time. Am now 20 weeks pg and everything's fine.
If you feel ok i would wait and see...
fingers crossed.

I had bleeding at this stage with my first. Turns out it was an implantation bleed. I had a scan all the same to check. I suggest that you give the maternity ward a call. If not put your feet up and wait till morning, if it is the unspeakable, there is not much they can do at this stage anyway.

Been to see gp. She was nice but generally said as it stopped and its pretty early she wouldn't recommend a scan come back if it happens again / cramps etc. Mind you i had other questions about pre eclapmsia (had it last time) and she seemed a bit clueless.
