Positive stories please- 2 consecutive miscarriages

I miscarried at 7+6 in June and now again at 10+5. I spent last night in hospital and the doctors tell me that two miscarriages is not that unusual- just unfortunate to have one after the other- and the chances are I will go on to have a successful pregnancy next time. They don't offer any type of testing until three consecutive mc.

Would love to hear some positive stories of a successful pg after two loses as this mc was quite traumatic and has taken its toll emotionally. I would like to get pg as soon as possible but am dreading the thought of going through this again and the waiting to get past the 12-13 week mark. Thanks.

I had 2 miscarriages at 8 weeks and then my Daughter then a mc at 13 weeks and am mow 14 weeks pregnant.

I'm so sorry. I have no experience of miscarriages myself, but my cousin had two and then went on to have two beautiful children. Very best of luck.

Sugarybits - I had two consecutive miscarriages last year, one at 7 weeks, one at 6 weeks. It was very hard, despite beaing such early miscarriages. The doctors reassured me there was no specific cause, I had just been unlucky. I'm now pregnant again and due in two weeks, so there is hope for you. I do'nt know how I got through the first 12 weeks of this pregnancy, I just did somehow.

I had two missed m/c, at 11 wks in Aug 2005 and 7 weeks in March 2006. Then I had my DD in March 2007 (and I was almost 44 at the time!)

Hi, I too am in the same boat. I had a miscarriage when I was 21 then one at 23, I'm now 27 & we're trying again. I'm so scared I'll lose it again as my immune system is rubbish I'm always run down & think I blame that for the losses but not sure if its directly linked. Feel like my body rejects it, silly I know but you do look for things to blame!! Its nice to hear the good stories though.
