Is this a normal Period....

Hi, i suffered a missed miscarriage 2.5 weeks ago and after my ERPC i had bleeding for about 6 days. This was bright red and quite heavy. I then stopped bleeding for 3/4 days which was great but now i have been bleeding again. This time it is more dark and not as heavy. Could this be a normal period? I just want to know as i was told not to use tampons until my period returned but i was also told that i could bleed for 14 days after the MC. Im now confused and hate using sanitary towels!

Hi, same with me afte 3 mmc and all followed by ERPC, bleeding on and off for about 3 weeks. Period always arrived 4 to 5 weeks after. Just play it safe using sanitary towels I would say. I know its horrible but better than an infection. Keep your chin up. sx

Thanks Ladies, it seems to have stopped again now but it may be back tomrrow!

Justjules, i havent tested since i found out about the MC. Is this something i should do, if so can i ask why? Ive not heard of that before.
