Ovulation after a D&C?

Hi everyone, just wondering what people's experiences are with ovulation following a D&C and how long it took to start ovulating again?

I had a MMC confirmed at 9 weeks (baby stopped growing at 6+5) and had a D&C two weeks ago (7th Sept.) My bleeding stopped after a week and I'm desperate to start trying again, so just wondered when that may be realistic? Any experiences, good or bad are welcomed. Thank you xx

I’m so sorry 🫂. I haven’t had a D&C but my period returned approximately 3 weeks after my miscarriage bleeding stopped and then I was back to normal cycles. I didn’t track ovulating during that three week window between the bleeding stopping and the period but I would be surprised if I had. I found the urgency for a baby awful in those few weeks with the hormone crash. I hope you are back to your normal cycles very soon xx

I'm so sorry for your loss ❤️ I haven't had a D&C but 2 MMC at 9 weeks. Most recent at the beginning of August was done at the hospital via misoprostol rather than waiting for it to happen naturally. I just wanted it over and done with so we could start trying again.
Following the first day passing the sac/pregnancy tissue I then bled for about 2 weeks.
Unfortunately, me and hubby then had a case of severe bacterial food poisoning for 12 days (so neither of us could/wanted to do the no pants dance 😂) and my period arrived during that time. So I have no idea if or when I ovulated before my first period following my MC.
However, this cycle (2nd) I ovulated on day 13 of my cycle like I always did previously, so fingers crossed my period doesn't come.
I started the ovulation tests much earlier this month though just in case my cycle wasn't back to normal yet, just so I wouldn't miss the peak.
