Hi everyone, I had a repeat d&c just under 3 weeks ago. I had an infection after the first one because of RPOC, so I needed a second D&C.
Recovery has been good and I’ve had very little bleeding. For the past few days though, I’ve been having on-and-off bleeding, mainly when I wipe after using the bathroom. This morning I woke up and was bleeding quite a lot more and the tissue was full of VERY fresh, bright red blood. The bleeding has continued all morning.
I’m worried about this because I’m only 19 days post second surgery so I don’t think this could be my period. I’m also still testing very faintly positive.
Is this something I should be worried about, or can this be normal during recovery 19 days after a d&c? Can it be my period that early? Has anyone experienced bleeding like this around 3 weeks after surgery?
