Chemical pregnancy/ectopic?

Has anyone else had a similar experience to this -
I'm supposed to be around 5 weeks pregnant.
I noticed last Tuesday that my clear blue test had come down from 2-3 to 1-2 weeks. I had my bloods taken on Wednesday which came back at 57 HCG. The early pregnancy unit said as it's low I should retest in a week and if it's positive I'll have to go back in for more bloods. I've had no bleeding since, tests are still positive but don't seem to be getting darker.
I've had 5 chemical pregnancies and miscarriages in total and none have ever been like this. Usually I bleed and then my tests get lighter. I'm confused

I’ve had 2 chemical pregnancies at around 6 weeks, felt massive gush and by day 1/2 bleeding non stop and always by day 2-3 (after the gush and during the bleeding) i get a negative test. Always test urine in the morning when HCG levels are at highest. Hope you’re okay and your tests are positive.
