Natural miscarriage or D&C

Sensitive topic so apologise but i am Looking for some advice on whether you conceived better after a natural miscarriage or after a D&C.

I’ve had two miscarriages and I’m now going through my third. With my first miscarriage, I let it happen naturally and then conceived again about a month later. With my second, I had a D&C and it then took me 6 months to conceive again.

I’m just wondering what everyone’s experiences were and whether you felt one was better for you personally when trying again afterwards?

I’ll be having some testing done before trying again, but I’d really appreciate hearing other people’s experiences.

Thank you 🤍

I had surgery for my first miscarriage, took about a year to conceive after that and sadly miscarried again but that one was natural. I then conceived again about 4 months later and had my rainbow baby. There is no right or wrong but either way please do look after yourself.

I had a d&c years ago post mc. Lots of infections.
Mmc at 8 weeks and passed it at home. Much better ime.. I didn't ttc again as was likely age related and couldn't cope with anymore disappointment..

sorry to hear this. I had a d and c last year for my first miscarriage at 13 weeks pregnant.

I then had a positive test 4 weeks later! He is now 11 weeks old :) I bleed just for that day and was very surprised at how easy the recovery was (physically) but I know that’s not the same for everyone.

Lots of miscarriages and two d&C’s afterwards. It’s tricky: with the natural it took ages to end. I think I’d always opt for D&C now.
