Hi everyone, I’m just looking for some advice and hopefully some positive stories.

Today I found out that in my third pregnancy, the baby’s heart stopped beating at 8 weeks. I’m currently 9 weeks and 1 day, so they said it likely stopped around a week ago.

This is now my third miscarriage. My first miscarriage was very similar I went for my 9 week scan and there was no heartbeat. My second pregnancy made it to 12 weeks, but the baby had triploidy and fluid on the brain, and the heart had stopped beating then too.

Now this has happened again, and I’m starting to wonder if it could all be related to chromosome issues or if there could be another reason this keeps happening.

Has anyone been through something similar and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy afterwards? This has really taken a toll on my mental health. Hearing “there’s no heartbeat” for the third time has honestly broken me, and I’m struggling a lot right now.

I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has experienced recurrent miscarriage and had a positive outcome, because at the moment I feel like I’m losing hope.

I’m so sorry

my friends who have been through this have seemed firtility doctors who found she had an injection and once treated next to pregnancies were fine and she had two healthy babies .

the other friend got put on high strength progesterone as soon as she was pregnant again and then that worked and she also now has two healthy boys
good luck

i am so sorry OP, I had a very ordinary first pregnancy. 5 miscarriages and then a normal but very stressful pregnancy. I took an aspirin a day for the first 5 months of last pregnancy.

I had two miscarriages, one at 13 weeks then another a year later at 9 weeks. Then had my rainbow baby and was on cyclogest for that pregnancy. I am so sorry for your losses.

So sorry for your losses 🖤 I had two (one at 6 weeks and one at 9 weeks which was a MMC) and then went on to have a healthy baby. I was put on blood thinning injections and aspirin as testing showed I had APS which was causing the miscarriages and they also gave me progesterone. You can reach out to the recurrent miscarriage clinic at your local trust but I believe the waitlists are really long. Fingers crossed for your rainbow baby one day 💕

That must be so hard. Did you talk to the person who did the scan about your repeated miscarriages? Are you getting followed up? If not go to your GP and speak to them so they can start getting this investigated.
