TTC 7 months after MMC and D&C

I have been TTC for 7 months after my MMC which I chose to have surgical management for. I’ve been trying since I stopped bleeding after the MMC. Have done all the testing and know that I am ovulating but can’t seem to get pregnant 😞 I’ve stopped tracking anything and started to listen to my body to alleviate any stress but that still hasn’t helped.

I was able to get pregnant first try with my DS 6 years ago and first try with the baby I miscarried but now, nothing. I’ve booked a GP appointment for next week to start the ball rolling with testing etc.

It’s such a lonely journey and I have no one to talk to about it that will understand!

Hi. I’m in a similar situation. Got pregnant first try with my son who is now 3 and with my second pregnancy which ended in a miscarriage in October last year. I’m going into my 7th cycle ttc since then and feeling like it will never happen. It feels like all I’ve thought about over the past 7 months and my mental health is the worst it’s ever been. I’ve had some basic hormone tests done which all came back satisfactory - not exactly sure what that means but my doctor won’t do any more for me until we’ve been trying for 12 months since the miscarriage. I have no advice but just want you to know you’re not along ❤️

Not the total same boat as you but this is what our journey looked like:
7 months to conceive DS (now nearly 5)
First try to conceive second pregnancy - ended in MMC at 9 weeks
6 months to conceive third pregnancy - ended in miscarriage at 6 weeks
6 months to conceive DD (now 6 months)

Totally get how you're feeling because those months of trying after my first miscarriage were so hard and lonely. My MH was also rock bottom and I struggled to see the end in sight. I went and saw a private consultant and had some testing done with showed I have APS which was likely causing the miscarriages (and I think can also affect conception), so if this is something that you can afford it might be worth going down this route.to get some answers sooner. Sending you big hugs as I know how soul destroying it is to go month after month and feel like it'll never happen!

Thank you 🙏🏻 I’ve just had a 21 day blood test and they want to repeat it this cycle as my progesterone seemed low. I’ve just started cycle #8 today and I’m having mixed feelings

I’m so sorry you’re feeling the same! It’s such a lonely journey. It’s literally all I think about it it’s so consuming 😞. Yeah I’ve just had a 21 blood test which came back normal except a slightly low progesterone so I’m having repeat bloods done this cycle. I’m kind of hoping something is wrong (as weird as that sounds) so at least there can be something done to help
