Hi all, I'm looking for some solidarity while I wait for more tests at the EPU. I believe I miscarried two weeks ago at around 5w5d. I had a couple of days of brown spotting, then one morning I had and hour or so of severe cramping pain with shivers, sweats and dizziness. Bleeding carried on for about a week much like a regular period. Today I went for a blood test because home pregnancy test results aren't changing at all. The test revealed very low HCG (around 170) and high progesterone (around 35) so they're going to repeat and scan me on Monday. I suppose I just wondered if anyone has had similar - is this likely to be a normal miscarriage that's slow to resolve or is an ectopic likely? The wait for clarity is driving me a bit insane.
