ovary cyst found during miscarriage

started having little niggles since last year but just put it down to ovulation pain. cycles are like clock work, no other symptoms apart from it did take me and partner over a year to conceive ( i do have a little boy from previous relationship he is 6) which i was concerned why it took us so long to get pregnant, ended up in a Miscarriage last week where they found the cyst. she said to go to my gp if i have pain from it. I did wonder if the cyst is a part of my infertility but she seems to think not.
sometimes it does feel heavy on the right where the cyst is especially when i wake up and need a wee first thing. or trapped wind my goodness feels like my bowels are pushing onto the cyst. achy hip around that area, depending if near my period cycle.
during ovulation i do get stabbing pains but can vary either to the left or the right.
no heavy periods, or any other symptoms.
the nurse said during the ultrasound that the cyst was tucked behind my bowel it was hard to really see so she had to get me to lay sideways and press really hard into my stomach to get a better view. she did say she was going to speak to her consultant. a week later i went back for a scan (due to miscarriage) and the consultant went through aftercare and also informed me about the cyst, apparently nothing to worry about just like having a spot on your face they and go. She explained if i had pain from it and wanted to get it investigated then go to my GP as she will send all my notes over. I’m curious whether to leave it or actually get it removed. Me and my partner are still TTC so i don’t want it to mess it up for us🥹
i feel my minds playing tricks on me because now i know it’s there i keep getting niggles more often😂.

Hey @MamaB12, as your doctor said
ovarian cysts can come and go and might not be a concern. However, there is a type of ovarian cyst called an endometrioma which is endometriosis. Do you have any symptoms of endometriosis?

I had an ovarian cyst found after a miscarriage and was advised to keep an eye on it. In my case, it grew and an MRI confirmed it was endometriosis. I had to have it removed as it was a risk to the ovary but that’s not always the advice.

It is hopefully nothing to be concerned about but maybe worth looking into if you’re worried.

hi,
i don’t know what the symptoms of endo are if i’m honest i never google anything because ill give myself a panic attack but more than likely i have pcos or endo.
prior to miscarriage i have regular cycles and ovulation. when i was a teen i had heavy and painful periods but after my little boy they settled down..
i don’t have weight gain, i only 9 stone 5’4, slim.
hair loss - daily
bowel movements - not great, i do suffer with my stomach a lot, always have since having my little boy.
no facial hair, apart from hair on my nipples?? which i actually saw a tiktok saying that black hair on nipples can indicate PCOS.. 🤦🏽‍♀️

sorry for the essay
