Chemical miscarriage when to try again

I’ve just had a chemical miscarriage (v early pregnancy). I started bleeding yesterday. I was wondering whether that is day 1 of my cycle? I’m 40 and we are keen to start trying sooner rather than later. When did you start trying again? Thanks

I used to count day one of bleeding as my day 1, and just watch for signs of ovulation. I am sorry, chemicals are awful. I got pregnant the next month after my 3 chemical pregnancies, an old wives tale say you are more fertile (no clue if true but made me feel better)

Sorry for your loss and hope you're ok, I had two chemicals between DS and DD and was surprised how intense they were emotionally and physically. Please take it easy.

Like the previous poster I got pregnant straight after my second one, you can try again as soon as you're ready.

@KittenHelp24thank you. I really appreciate your message. It has taken me aback how emotional it is. I’m sorry for your loses but so wonderful to hear that you have 2 healthy children now.

im praying that it’ll happen soon but so worried about my age. We conceived on our first cycle trying so trying to see that as a positive. I also have an underactive thyroid and my GP seemed v non plus-ed about getting a blood test so I’m definitely going to fight more for that next time.

Keeping everything crossed for you. I had my last baby at 41 and she is such a delight (now 11) a wonderful grand finale
