Has anyone ever had an embryo with Trisomy 7, either during IVF with PGTA or from miscarriages being tested?
I am 42, husband is 40. We have one healthy six-year-old and six miscarriages in the last seven years, all naturally conceived.
We turned to IVF with PGT-A at a clinic in Spain in December 2025 (and have an immune protocol with a small amount of prednisolone from the Lister Fertility Clinic in Chelsea). Our first cycle yielded one euploid embryo, which is frozen. We just got the results of our second cycle and the one embryo sent off for testing has Trisomy 7, and is therefore not suitable for transfer.
I am wondering if this was the cause of at least some of my miscarriages (I didn't have any sent for testing afterwards, except the last one in July 2025, which was inconclusive).
