Hi 👋🏻
found out last Friday I’d had a mmc at 6 weeks and had to the take the tablets.
thenprocess was pretty quick and I’ve now stopped bleeding,
we have decided we want to try again,
how quickly is safe to try again?
and how quickly have you caught on after a miscarriage?
thank you x

So sorry for your loss. I had a mmc at 13 weeks. I also done the tablets and it was over quickly and bleeding completely stopped post 2 days. We done the deed again after 12 days. Currently either waiting for a period or not xx

No. My pregnancy test was still faint positive when had sex again.

We both really want to try again, I’m worried that I will miss ovulation if I wait for a negative! It’s really hard to navigate as I so heartbroken, but really want to try again

I ovulated (confirmed by scan) roughly 13 days post miscarriage and then had my first period roughly 2 weeks after.

I'm so sorry for your loss, I know how badly hurts. My MMC was at 13 weeks. I was even waking up crying in the night. My hormones were crazy xx

how do you count the days, from when the bleeding starts or when the bleeding stops! I worry that if we start trying and don’t have a negative then it gets more positive, will that be a new one or the miscarriage being retained I don’t even know if I’m making sense. Are you guys still trying! It’s so hard to navigate the feelings an emotions isn’t it x

Feeling for you all. My daughter has a missed miscarriage at 9 weeks...she had twins seen at 7 weeks with good beating hearts.
On Sunday they had gone. She's having D&C Friday.
I think it's probably difficult to establish when ovulation will occur first time but I know she's keen to try again soon. ALL her friends are announcing pregnancies left right and centre. I'm really struggling as granny to be for the first time.

Edited

I count from my bleeding from the day it started. I was really lucky and only had 3 days in total of bleeding.

I totally understand what you mean. In that case you would have to tell your EPU that you're still getting a positive test and they will bring you in for a scan, then you will know if it's a new pregnancy or retained tissue.

February was the month it happened, so this month is our first month of proper trying xx

I'm happy to answer anymore questions if I can. I truly understand xxx

@Niftymum88 I have read that you’re really fertile afterwards. Wishing you all the luck x
