Pregnancy tests after miscarriag

I had surgical miscarriage management on 2nd January after an early scan showed no heartbeat at 7 weeks.

I was told to test 3 weeks later on 23rd January. I tested a week after out of interest, it was an incredibly faint positive. I've tested yesterday and today, the line is getting darker. I'm worried about RPOC and the need to have the surgery again. Has anyone had a similar situation?

Have you had unprotected sex since? I’d contact the GP for advice

If you’re sure that it’s not a new pregnancy, then you need to contact the GP and request a scan. Sorry you’re going through this shit time 💐

You need to get back in contact with where you had the procedure - for me it was the EPAU. They will do an internal scan to check.

Thank you for your responses. The EPU won't take anything forward unless I am still testing positive on Friday. Only two days away but it feels a long time.

I have had unprotected sex since the surgery on 9th, 10th & 16th which all feel too early for a positive test from a new pregnancy

Those dates are nearly 2 weeks ago so it is absolutely positive to get a positive result. I hope Friday comes around quickly for you OP

Thank you! I'm trying not to get my hopes up as I've read many posts about RPOC and second procedures being required. I’ll have to keep busy until Friday

Thanks everyone for your responses.

The hospital have taken bloods yesterday which are measuring 51 hCG. I’ll have bloods again tomorrow to see if it's decreasing
