TTC Struggling

Hello,

I had a miscarriage in September and I've just started my sixth cycle since the miscarriage.

Since the miscarriage, my periods are regular, but they're heavier a bit more painful, slightly longer but no longer than 7 days and a have lot more mucus.

I'm awaiting a docs app just to check my periods are ok, but I just wanted to see if anyone has experienced anything similar? I got pregnant quite quickly with my first child and with my last two miscarriages. I thought it'd be quicker and now I'm panicking and wondering if the miscarriage has impacted my overall fertility.

I've just started taking Naitre supplements in the last few days with a hope that it will help and this January, I've been drinking lots more water, stopped alcohol completely, eating more greens etc. I'm gonna start yoga on Monday and I have a lymphatic drainage massage booked for Sunday. I think I'm going crazy.

How have you got on taking Naitre?
I literally started them maybe two weeks ago. They taste terrible

Hi

I had a miscarriage in October and going through the same struggles right now. How have you got on with Naitre?

Fridayschild25 · 03/04/2026 19:22

I'm 3 months in and I rate them! I actually like the taste now.
Still not pregnant but I've had blood tests and all results related to the supplements are super perfect - couldn't be better. I've started taking coq10 and iron now too as I've got an iron deficiency and I've read coq10 is good for eggs (Naitre has only a bit of this in them).
I think pregnancy may take longer for me now as my FSH results were borderline high. I've just been referred to the NHS infertility clinic.
Hope you're both going ok

I’ve also been referred to infertility clinic but I’m waiting to see if the referral gets accepted or not.
i went to the recurrent miscarrige specialist but all tests came back okay and then I started taking these naitre sachets. Still taste horrible lol. I have been taking them for 4 weeks now. I don’t think I’ll ever get used to that taste 🤣xx

@EmmaJuneM How long have you been TTC? Sorry you've experienced losses, it's so bloody awful. I'm glad all your tests came back ok. I got referred about 3 weeks ago and got an appointment a week and a half later for the first week in May. I was quite surprised how quickly they turned it around. I think I must be lucky, I know it can differ depending on councils. Hope you're doing ok :)

So my first miscarriage was in Nov 24. Then again in July and August 25. After 3 they referred me to the recurrent miscarrige clinic and I was told not to try as they need to do bloods after 12 weeks of not being pregnant. They all came back fine and my period decided no I’m not going to arrive so you can start ttc again😩 I waited 56 days for it!!
The first month trying I had a chemical pregnancy. So I went up to the hospital who wrote to my doctors saying I needed a referral to the fertility clinic at Ipswich hospital.
well my doctors did it wrong and referred for infertility and they rejected it cos obviously I had had positive tests so it had to be redone for fertility instead. Well that got done 26th February and it’s still waiting to be accepted or not. They have until 23rd April and then I’m allowed to ring up if nothings been decided. It’s rough road not knowing why you can’t just stay pregnant. That’s why I went from pregnacare tablets to these sachets to see if they worked. Although the price tag is hefty 😳 xx

I'm so sorry you've had to go this, I hope you get seen soon 🙏 and I'm sorry for your miscarriages. It's so lonely.
I've been trying for 8 months since my miscarriage which I've put down to my FSH and some of my husbands results, but I found out yesterday that I'm pregnant 😭 I've got 2 days of sachets left of my naitre and I bought three months worth - they say it takes 3 months to get into your system so maybe it did help. I also used mucinex for the first time this month, thought I'd try the trend. Hoping it sticks and I don't experience a miscarriage again. Sending lots of love and best wishes for your journey. Xx

That’s amazing news!
I really hope everything goes well for you.
i ovulated 2 days ago and i nearly missed it cos my app was telling me a different day. I have managed to quickly inseminate and now I hope for the best I suppose lol.
i also read about taking the sachets for 3 months. I feel like I have been at this for so long now. My first miscarriage was nov 24 so ages ago xx
