Has anyone been through something similar? First day of last period was 25/11/2025. Intimate in that cycle on 9th and 11th December. Days leading up to Christmas started testing and all came back completely negative. Period was due 22nd December, always been like clock work to the day when due on. Tests still came back negative. Christmas Day I started bleeding presuming it was my period which was just late, looked and felt like a normal period although the ‘heaviness’ of it which I normally have only lasted about 3 days and then just very minimal brown discharge for about 2-3 days after that. Saturday 3rd Jan something in me told me to take a test which came back positive. Have multiple positive tests. I rang 111 straight away and my assumption was that the bleeding on 25th was a miscarriage. Attended EPU on Sunday where they took bloods and internal scan from scan they concluded PUL until bloods came back. They did the next day at HCG of 83 which they think is low and believe I have miscarriage. They want me to wait a week before going back for another round of bloods which they think will come back at zero HCG. Don’t know if I’m in complete denial or what but something in my gut is telling me they are wrong. Pregnancy tests are getting darker and pregnancy symptoms are getting more intense 2 weeks after the actual ‘miscarriage’. I’m not necessarily thinking that it might still be a viable pregnancy but maybe eptopic? Something in my gut is telling me the are wrong. Maybe I ovulated late so not as far along as they think I know that due to intimate days mentioned above it wouldn’t be way off but still. Anyone had a similar experience or had HCG levels of 83 at 4.5-6 weeks pregnant and had a viable pregnant? TIA X
