i can’t help but feel absolutely devastated that I’m having a chemical pregnancy tested positive for 5 days but the line wasn’t progressing and had bad cramps. Today I started bleeding and i honestly can’t stop crying this pregnancy was very much planned and has been for a very long time it’s my first positive I’ve had in years. I guess my question is how long after you had your chemical pregnancies or miscarriages did it take for you to fall pregnant again? Thanks x

Hi clover, i am sorry you are going through this!
I cant help much but wish you lots of luck to get pregnant again quickly.

I had to have a termination for a genetic defect incompatible with life for my 1st pregnancy, fell pregnant again within a few months and had a misscariage at 8 weeks, then fell pregnant within another few months ( about 3 months each time if i remember the timeline okay) , then had my first child, then it took 12 months of actively trying for a pregnancy for my 2nd child.
But I also was in my mid thirties.

Hoping you will get more replies! But also every experience/path is different.
I remember trawling the internet for hours for similar and/or positive stories!

Started TTC in November last year. I got pregnant in January, had a loss in March. Had a chemical in May. Then got pregnant in September and had a loss in November. Hoping for a better year next year.

Hi @Clover1998 . I am so sorry about your chemical pregnancy. I know how heart breaking it is, I have had 5 this year and one miscarriage at 9 weeks. I have been told that this is age related as I'm 42.

My cycles are normal following a chemical and I have got bfp on consecutive months. Hopefully you'll be the same so you can try again as soon as you're ready. I'm currently 13dpo and got a bfp from 10dpo, hoping this one sticks.

The thing that keeps me going is that I had a MMC at 13 weeks and fell pregnant the cycle after with my DD, who has just turned two and feel everything happens for a reason in the end. Wishing the best of luck and that you fall quickly xx

@Esssa I'm really sorry for your losses. Hoping that 2026 is your year xx
