Progesterone - Delayed Miscarriage

I'm quite desperate for peoples experiences if anyone has had anything similar happen.

I'd had multiple losses in the past and from the time I begin bleeding to expelling the main pregnancy sac it's 4 days. Then I continue bleeding until it stops.

For the first time I used progesterone this pregnancy. And I have been bleeding extremely lightly for 12 days. I.e. just if I wipe to use the bathroom as an example.

Has anyone bled lightly for 12 days and if you did how long did it take to eventually dispel the pregnancy sac. I do not want to have a D&C. Your experiences though would be helpful. Thanks all.

So sorry you're going through this. Are you absolutely certain you're miscarrying this time? Is there any chance this is a pregnancy bleed, which some people get? Sorry if this is an insensitive question or doesn't make sense.

To add, I've had several losses and they were all similar to how you've described - a light bleed for a few days before losing the pregnancy fully. If it's been 12 days still lightly, maybe there is some hope that this is not a miscarriage but something else

It's unfortunately a pregnancy loss. I went for a scan at 9 weeks 2 days and the baby had actually grown smaller than my previous scan and the sonographer said the pregnancy sac has dropped out of place for where it should be signalling a miscarriage was pending.

I started very lightly bleeding the same day before the scan and it hasn't stopped

Just in case anyone wants an update to this in the future. I bled for 15 days brown blood and random stringy brown clots.

I then started to bleed red And had cramping for 5 days.

The cramping became painful / Intense day 5 overnight and into today. . day 6 I expelled the pregnancy sac. (At 12 weeks & 2 days. Baby stopped growing according to scan at 6 weeks)

So overall 26 days from brown bleeding to pregnancy sac leaving.

I really was afraid of medical management.
