Bleeding after surgical management

Hello

I had surgical management of an 8w missed miscarriage on Thursday. Since then I've had strong period cramps but light bleeding. I woke up at 6am and had filled a pad, soaked my pyjamas and passed a thumb sized clot. Is this normal? I feel weak now but the bleeding has returned to being light.

Should I just monitor for now?

So had bleeding for about a week after my D&C, some of it was quite heavy. I was surprised by the amount of bleeding but my cousin also had the same when she had hers so I don’t think it’s unusual.
