Trying again after miscarriage

I had a MMC back in September (first pregnancy), I had spotting early pregnancy for around 10 days during this time had a scan which showed a heartbeat just after 6w no reason for bleeding and was discharged to routine care but unfortunately later found that pregnancy had stopped at 6w5d. I have been advised the normal of “likely a one off chromosomal abnormality” but the spotting is making me worry otherwise

I have had thyroid tests done by GP and all normal. There is a LOT online about progesterone and baby aspirin, I know after just one miscarriage I wouldn't qualify for these through NHS, I don’t know about private services?
I know there isn’t a magic formula to avoid another miscarriage but I am still heartbroken and I just want to try and give myself the best possible chance if I am lucky enough to get pregnant again, I suppose my question is - is there anything else I could have checked? Or anything at all anyone would recommend?

Thank you x

I think lots of private miscarriage clinics require you to have had two miscarriages before tests but I might be wrong.
To avoid a chromosome related miscarriage, there may be some things you can do to improve egg quality. The book 'It starts with an egg' has lots of advice.
