2nd loss in 6 months

Sorry for the long post, I’m trying to get my head around our second pregnancy loss in 6 months. Our first loss was in July at 7 weeks, and our most recent at the weekend would have been 6 weeks. We’ve already got a 3.5y DS.

After the July MC I got in touch with the GP as I’d been having some unusual for me symptoms for a while. Blood tests came back with low B12 and low potassium. Potassium has been retested and is okay now. I’ve taken a b12 supplement since as GP recommended and will have that retested soon.
We really thought since the b12 issue was being treated this pregnancy would be different 😭
I just don’t know where to go from here. Ive been tracking my cycle for a long time and have a short luteal phase of around 8-9 days, not sure if this is related to the MCs.
I was taking folic acid, dha, coq10, vit D and Vit C before both recent pregnancies.

I guess my main reason for this post is for a little hope that it will all work out. Has anyone else had 2 losses and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy?

My first 2 pregnancies ended in miscarriages. The 3rd ended in my DS. A friend of mine had a perfect first pregnancy, then 2 losses before just having her second. Unfortunately I don't think it's uncommon x

I had 2 mc before my little girl born in September. It’s heartbreaking so I feel for you being in the thick of it right now.
After my 2nd mc I watched my cycles like a hawk and too realised I had a short luteal phase. Must say I have no medical knowledge but short luteal phase is linked with low progesterone levels. When I became pregnant the 3rd time I had some spotting very early on, I then pushed for a scan and progesterone prescription at the early pregnancy unit. I took progesterone until 16 weeks…whether it did make a difference who knows but I knew that I wanted to try it.
Wishing you luck moving forward x

Thanks for your replies @OneDayHope @winterbluess. Hopefully it’ll be 3rd time lucky when we decide to start trying again 🤞
I was put on progesterone when I started bleeding this time but it didn’t help. Although I was cramping for days beforehand, so I wonder if it may have been more beneficial if it had been started earlier. Will never know but it’s interesting that there may be a link between LP and progesterone X
