I felt absolutely fine after it. Obviously emotionally is a different matter but I was physically fine. I went back to work on the Wednesday and I’d had it done the previous Friday

I felt completely fine as soon as it was done. I was awake though and you’re able to drive after. I know it’s a bit of a longer recovery with the general

I just had mild period pains for one night. I only bled the first night too. We then flew on a 10 hour flight , 3 days later! Hope it goes ok for you.

I had MVA under local anaesthetic, but I would think recovery is about the same aside from coming round from the GA. I felt very tired and quite achy (sort of all over) and a bit crampy for a few days. Bleeding was period-like after the initial post-procedure gushes, and slowly decreased over time. I have pretty much stopped bleeding today one week on.

Emotionally is a very different story, but physically aside from a few crampy moments I feel normal now. My pregnancy nausea and sore boobs also resolved pretty much the same day as the procedure. Today I am describing myself as "back to my normal self, just sadder".

I’ve had two and always wake up feeling so relieved that it’s over. Physically I’ve never had any issues, emotionally takes a couple of weeks of non stop crying. Sending love and hugs for an easy process for you xxx
