Progesterone: Post ovulation vs. Post positive test

Hi all,
This is my first time posting so please go easy on me! I’m interested to hear people’s opinions on progesterone and taking it from just past ovulation, vs taking it once you have already had a positive test. My partner and I have been TTC for coming up to a year now and in that time we have had 1 chemical, and a missed miscarriage that we learned about at around 9 weeks, but babies (it was a twin pregnancy) hadn’t grown past 6 weeks.
I have done blood tests and Pdg dip tests to check my progesterone on various cycles throughout our journey so far and in a nutshell, it’s very unstable.
I seem to find there is mixed opinions out there on when it’s more beneficial to take progesterone. I personally think taking it from just past ovulation might help me maintain a pregnancy, but that seems to be something the NHS won’t offer, and I’m not sure why?

Would love to hear people’s opinions on this, especially if you’ve had first hand experience! Thanks in advance!
