Positive tests 19 days post surgery for missed miscarriage

I'm still testing positive 19 days after surgery for missed miscarriage (10 weeks but baby measured 6w4d)
I'm still testing positive on 10 & 25mlu/ml tests (attached photos- not FMU)

Has anyone else had a similar situation/timeline? Would you be concerned about retained tissue?

This is my second mmc in 5 months, I had failed medical management for my first in May and then surgery- I had completely negative tests by 10 days post surgery that time

Feeling a bit anxious as I would hate to have to have another surgery. Thanks 💕

Sorry you're going through this. I know my hospital says to test 3 weeks after surgery and then give them a call if it's still positive and they do a scan to see if there is any retained tissue.

Mine took the full 3-4 weeks to show negative on these strips x

So sorry for your loss. I’ve been there. It’s completely normal to still test positive up to 3/4 weeks after a D&C. Hormones still in your system.

Thank you for the reassurance everyone. Just having a hard day & I was worrying as last time I had completely negative tests by day 11 x

Yes I did, and then they got me to wait until 4 weeks. When it was still positive then they had me in for a blood test and it showed my hcg levels were really low and that it should turn negative soon

I’m so sorry. I was positive after 2 weeks still, but by 3 weeks I was clear.
i also had two missed miscarriages, they’re just terrible. I hope you are doing ok.
im now 24 weeks pregnant with my rainbow baby. I hope that gives you some hope.xxx
