Is this a miscarriage or clot(GRAPHIC PIC)

My cycle varies 30 to 35 days.
Today was cycle day 45 so I figured i must have skipped my period as I was going through a lot of stress, had a course of antibiotics and also fell poorly with high fever
Cycle day 45 my 'period' came but so did this.. never had a clot like this .. my husband said right away is that a fetus and I burst out crying as I had told myself its a clot.

I last took a pregnancy test on cycle day 37 and that was negative, so surely it couldnt have been a miscarriage as it would have been positive then on a cycle of 30-35 days(?)

There is no photo attached, I don’t have a lot of experience but didn’t want to leave you waiting for a response.

The only thing I can say is that I wouldn’t have thought you would have any obvious signs of a fetus at 45 days after your last period. So in that respect I would suggest a clot is probably just that x

That is a clot/tissue likely from delayed period confirmed more so by the negative pregnancy tests

as PP said at 45 days baby would only be around 6mm

maybe ask your husband to do a bit more reading around the topic to get a better understanding before he suggests upsetting things
