Planning future pregnancy

I had a miscarriage and had to have D&C surgery to remove the baby two weeks ago. I am now waiting for my period and doctors told me to wait 3 cycles. Does anyone has any advice - should I wait ? I really want a baby... it was my first pregancy :(

Hi OP, slightly different but similar situation. I had an ectopic removal and they said to wait two cycles to try again. I think it’s so your hormones sort themselves out, any internal inflammation is settled and also there will be no problems with dating any future pregnancies.
