TW is this pregnancy viable?

Hi guys, i’ve MC 2 times this year. Currently pregnant for the third time, just went for a scan as i’m unsure how far long i am & they’ve told me i’m measuring very small at 4 weeks 6 days. However, there is a yolk sac. I know you don’t see a yolk sack until 6 weeks. I think i’m having another MC, has anyone had a similar expierence and what was the outcome? Just don’t know what to think, i’m assuming this pregnancy isn’t viable x

I really feel for you, I lost my first two pregnancies to miscarriage too, it’s horrendous.

You never know, but from my personal experience, when things aren’t “normal”, it’s typically bad news. My two successful pregnancies after were textbook (apart from some spotting at 13wks with one).

This is exactly how i feel. I miscarried in august and never had a period since, just became pregnant again!! Which seemed like a miracle. I wasn’t sure how far along i am which is what i went in for today. I thought i was around 5 weeks from guessing, and the first thing he said was “i’m sorry but there is no heartbeat or embryo, you are to small to measure yolk” It’s made me feel really down, i knew there would be no heart beat as CB is showing 2-3 weeks so baby won’t be ready yet. I’ve been left feeling so confused, i read my paper work and it states i’m emaisreing at 4 weeks 6 days, measuring at 3.80MM. I do think that’s quite small. I just hate the waiting game xx

Thank you, i will keep everyone updated when i can. Just wanting that 3+ weeks, i know everyone says it means nothing but i’ve never had it no matter how far along ive been with my pregnancies! x

Hi guys, 5 weeks exactly today, did a digital and it says 3+ weeks. Made me feel more at ease, have booked a scan for next weekend x

Wait, so you thought you were 5 weeks and they measured you at 4 weeks and 6 days? That's not a big discrepancy at all?

Yes!! and that’s what i was so upset about. I said i think im around 5 weeks, the sonographer just turned around and told me there was no heart beat, im measuring to small for the dates that i think i am & that i need to prepare for the worse. Left feeling gutted x

That sounds very odd. If everything is fine, no other symptoms of something wrong, and with you getting your 3+ today, I would assume that all is well with the pregnancy.
