Missed miscarriage experiences

I know every miscarriage is different, my first MMC was at 12 weeks, showed nothing on the scan, and I had a natural MC 2 days after I found out, which was really heavy bleeding (soaking through night time pads each hour for about 4-6 hours (from memory).
This time I found out at 11 weeks, baby measured around 6 weeks then, but 4 days later baby was even smaller, so I opted for medical management, I had some bleeding (not even soaking through a nighttime pad) went back yesterday for another dose of tablets and bleeding has been much heavier, maybe changing pad 2-3 hours.
Obviously comparing my experiences they are totally different so I don't know if this one is normal as such, can anyone else help with their situations if you don't mind? Thanks!

I’m so sorry for your loss, it must be very difficult for you. I am sorry I don’t have much to add except that a natural MC and it was painful for a good 6 hours then subsided and bleeding lasted for 2 more weeks but not heavy.
all the best to you 💐

HI, had three MMCs and had days where bleeding was really heavy for a couple of days. It tends to be heavier after medications and pad every 2-3 hours sounds about right.

Hi, I’m 4wks post medicated management of miscarriage and finally think test is going negative. The experience was horrific, I’ve never felt so much pain in my life.

I've had 6 losses. Number 5 was a missed miscarriage and took around 5 months to resolve. It was self-managed without medication or surgery, basically watchful waiting. It was the most horrific time of my life; random spontaneous flooding of clots the size of my fists. I remember it was New Years Eve and I was at my in-laws house for a meal to see in the New Year. They had no idea I was miscarrying until I started flooding (I should have known better to stay home because I was so miserable tbh) and I had to rush back home where I then sat on the toilet for 5+ hours just haemorrhaging. I was lucky there was no traffic. I nearly bled out. I should have gone to A&E but I was too scared to and managed the whole thing at home. My husband thought I was going to die he was so terrified. That was all towards the end of the 5 month ordeal and things got much better after that. I had to test every week to make sure the line was disappearing. It was all so heartbreaking.

The miscarriage after that was pretty much instant and was over with in two days.

Now I'm 15+5 and keeping all fingers and toes crossed this one makes it.

I'm so sorry for your loss 💐
