4 weeks post mmc, positive test and period?

Hi all,

I'm now 4 weeks post medical management for my mmc. I had a positive pregnancy test at 3 weeks, called epas they said to wait it out another week if i felt well, which i did. My period started over the weekend, now 4 weeks post management and i had a positive pregnancy test this morning? Faint but still there. Trying to get through to EPAS but the line is always busy.

I had assumed it would be absolutely negative when i got my period. There is no chance this is a new pregnancy. Anyone else had similar or have any thoughts?

I had similar after my first miscarriage and the first nurse at EPU fobbed me off and my test would be negative after another week. It was still positive the following week and I was told by a different nurse that it could be my period while I still had pregnancy hormones.

I ended up having blood tests to monitor the hormones as they slowly came down over the course of a few weeks.

It took 6 weeks (and a period) for me to get a negative after a MMC and surgical management. I was advised not to start trying again until after a negative test and a period so it was easier to ensure dates etc.

I'm in the same position. 4 weeks after medical management I'm still spotting and wiping blood, when I think it's about to stop it restarts. I've done a pregnancy test last Thursday which was still positive. Will wait a few more days to test again, but don't know what to do if it keeps positive. Will I only have a period 4 weeks after it's negative? I just want my body to reset.
