I had a MMC in May this year. I should have been 11 weeks but they couldn’t find a heartbeat and said I miscarried at 8w 5d. Heart wrenching as I’d had my first scan at 8w 2d and everything was normal. This was my first pregnancy and 4 months later, I still feel devastated. I had a D&C on 22 May.
I had gotten pregnant quickly that first time having come off the pill in February, I got a positive test in March.
Since my MMC we’ve been trying to get pregnancy again every month. I had my first period post D&C in mid-June, and have had regular periods since. Although I’m not sure if I’ve been ovulating normally.
Im 30 and the doctor said I should have no issues conceiving again, but every negative test and period just makes me feel utterly broken. I moved to the US last year with work, and my family, friends and support network are all home in the UK so I’ve struggled. I’d really like to hear some positive stories of getting pregnancy again after a miscarriage to give me a bit of hope please.
