TTC after Miscarriage

I found out my baby had died at 8.5 weeks (found out at a private scan at 11.5 weeks..I felt something was off due to very little symptoms).
It took me a year to get pregnant due to a polyp that was preventing implantation. Once the polyp was out I concieved 2 months after but then miscarried.
They journey has felt long and my mental health has not been good. I'm 32 and I am trying for my second child, I already have an amazing 3 year old.
I was hoping to connect with people for success stories or people TTC since loss so we can keep eachother company ❤️

Hey OP, sorry you’re going through this. I also had a MMC and we conceived again the 1st month we were back trying. DS is a happy and healthy 8 month old now!

@KHMum123 I'm so sorry for your loss. We are just recovering from our latest loss then will be TTC again. Can't believe we're having to go back to the beginning again. Would love to have someone to chat to as we all know how the time can drag and how difficult it can be x

I’m also 32 with a 3yo and currently trying for our second. We had a loss at 7 weeks in July, finding that the grief comes in waves. Will feel more like myself for a few days and then someone makes a comment about DS needing a sibling or something and I’m back to feeling shit. It’s all such a rollercoaster, would be great to find people to wait it out with X

@CrazyKJ yes I find exactly that or even looking at siblings makes me sad because I feel I can't give him one 😔 the whole thing really is a mind f*ck. Have you started trying again this month? X

@Moosey898 yes the feeling of having to go back to day 1 is so distressing isn't it!! I find in real life not many people in my circle have gone through this so everyone now has their 2nds after a month or 2 of trying so feeling very isolated at the moment x

@Chocolateaddict999 wow that's so good that you conceived so quickly! I think because it's been such a long journey for me already it doesn't feel like it's going to happen that way but here is to hoping! 😂 x

@KHMum123 not yet - still recovering currently as it was only last week. As soon as I am ovulating we will try again. And yeah we have seen so many friends and family now have multiple children and we are here still childless, 5 losses later. The world is so cruel xx

Yeah that’s exactly it, I feel guilty I’ve not been able to give DS a sibling. A couple of our friends have just had a babies too, as happy as we are for them it’s a constant reminder of what we don’t have. Breaks my heart as DS is so good with the babies and asks quite often if we can get one.
yes we are back trying, this is our 2nd cycle since MC X

@CrazyKJ we will get there! How many dpo are you? I'm 6dpo but I just don't think it's going to be my month..I have a gut feeling! X

@KHMum123 Im still waiting for ovulation, hoping it’ll be in the next day or two.
I said that on the cycle I conceived before our MC, you never know until af shows 🤞 X
