Miscarriage or chemical? Please can someone advise?

Hi! I’m so confused at the moment. I’m a mummy of one, I’ve had 2 pregnancies one resulted in a miscarriage 6 years ago and have a healthy 2 and a half year old LB now.

I took a pregnancy test last Tuesday 19th August however and it was positive. I had done so many tests I was losing my mind (unexpectedly pregnant) some were negative most positive.

I however, hadnt had sex from the middle of July. But I took a heavy bleed on 29th July. I assumed it was just my period. I done a digital on the 28th July (knowing it was far too early, but just felt my body was already so different and chanced my arm) but it was negative.

It’s now Friday the week after my first test. I started bleeding heavily on Wednesday 27th August, few clots passed etc. I however have had no pain, just severe pain in my lower back.

I’m no longer bleeding and tests are still positive.

I’ve rung my local epu they just advised to wait until next week to test. I’ve rung another one today and waiting on them calling me back.

Does anyone have any advice? This is such a hard time I of course would love for this pregnancy to be still present unexpectedly or not. But I just don’t know what’s going on!

That big test has too much dye bleed, it looks like it’s tracked across to the test indent, so I don’t think you can read that as positive I’m afraid. I can’t see anything on the other test. If you DTD mid July you should have had a really dark, obvious, positive line now if pregnant.
Sorry, I know how difficult it is, but if the digital was negative then I’d say that was your period and you weren’t pregnant if that big test is the one you did on 19th August, this is just your next period by the sound of it.

Hi! Thanks for replying. That big test was last Saturday. That line came up right away and when I spoke to GP they seen and confirmed that as a positive. The other test was done by nurse and was confirmed positive! Maybe it’s just the pic I’ll attach another few positives of tests I have recieved. The bleeding has died off this morning - I’ve never had a period that just lasts 2 days.

I’ve just been so confused! Nothing is making sense.

However I do agree that they should be getting darker. And they aren’t which is making me think was the bleed on the 29th July a chemical.
