First period after MMC?

Hi,

I had surgical management of miscarriage on 29/7, bleeding after lasted until around 14/8. I then started bleeding again like a medium-heavy period on 20/8 and it is still ongoing. Is this normal? I’ve no idea if it is a period or not. Any similar stories?

It’s a bit early but don’t think it’s impossible. I don’t have experience but my DW had her surgical miscarriage a week ago. 4-8weeks is normal but I’ve read people say it happened earlier. Was your pregnancy test negative at 3 weeks? Can you ring the hospital for reassurance? DW is still under the early pregnancy unit until she confirms her negative pregnancy test
