Possible ectopic?

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has had an ectopic pregnancy with a negative urine pregnancy test? I may be overreacting and being completely paranoid but I've had an ectopic a few years ago so I am on high alert with any slight symptom.

I have pain in my left lower side, this went down to my leg last night, however today it just feels like it's near my ovary again. It's not unbearable though and no where near as bad as last time. I've done 3 tests - all negatives, which makes me think I'm possibly just being paranoid.

I should be due on my period in about 8 days - my last period was quite short, when I had an ectopic a few years ago I had what felt like a period as normal, so I'm vary wary.

Like I said, I could just be overthinking, it may just be standard ovary pain that we sometimes get as women!

Thank you x

Can only speak from my personal experience but with both my ectopic pregnancies I tested positive from 10dpo and had high HCG on blood tests. From what I’ve read once the egg implants your body will start producing HCG regardless of where implantation has occurred (be that in tubes or womb) so I’d assume if you were experiencing a ectopic pregnancy especially one that had grown enough to cause you pain or discomfort you would be testing positive. I do get ovary pain a lot more since the ectopics though x

Thank you that's really reassuring, and sorry to hear about your experiences too :( I am the exact same in terms of ovulation pain, never really used to have it before the ectopic and now I can feel when I ovulate every single month!
