Delayed ovulation after MC

Morning Ladies,
I had a MC at 7 weeks at the beginning of July. I ovulated around 2 weeks later according to LH strips. AF arrived a couple of weeks after that and I had a slightly heavier period than normal. I’m now on CD16 and my LH strips are still really light. Usually by this point I would already be ovulating, or at least getting dark strips to show peak is coming. I usually have a short luteal phase (8-9 days) so just getting concerned it’ll be way too short and won’t be time for implantation to happen.

Sorry for rambling a bit 🙈 I guess what I’m really asking is has anyone had similar and did it affect your luteal phase/cycle length?

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage! My ovulation has always been delayed after my miscarriages, anywhere between 21-28 days! I’ve managed to get pregnant 3 times with delays post miscarriage ovulation so it doesn’t seem to affect being able to conceive for me at least. I have miscarried them all unfortunately but they all grew appropriately with heartbeats seen so I don’t think it was an implementation issue, they are thinking it’s more likely to be an autoimmune condition I have so likely unrelated to the delayed ovulation.
my luteal phase has stayed the same regardless of my ovulation date - just means my cycles get longer overall.
I think it takes a while for things to reset, I’ve never been told it’s an issue - only for the initial scan as the dates are way off but usually viability is confirmed by a second scan with appropriate growth.
good luck! Wishing you all the success for your next pregnancy 😊

Thanks for the reply, sorry to hear about your losses too 🙁 It’s reassuring to know your cycle kind of adjusted itself to the delays and didn’t affect your ability to fall pregnant.
